Oh dear! Job applicant to agent attaches recipe instead of CV

When Heather McNab, 18, applied for a job to be a negotiator at an estate agency, she accidentally attached a Jamie Oliver recipe for chilli beef instead of her CV.

Bastion, the agents, in Stirling, may or may not have seen the funny side of it.

At any rate they sent her back an email pointing out her mistake – which promptly went viral when Heather posted up her mishap.

It has so far had almost 10,000 retweets, and has also drawn a response from Jamie Oliver himself.

He tweeted: “Brilliant, you deserve the job. That stew can do anything!”

Heather said: “Chilli was right next to CV on my computer.”

She said she was unsure whether she would ever send the agents her CV.

“I think I’m too embarrassed now,” she said.

Go on, give the girl a job!
