UK’s Sotheby’s property business beefs up senior management team

United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty, part of the global Sotheby’s International Realty network, has grown its senior leadership team.

Jason Corbett joins as director of country sales and lettings and brings 25 years of industry experience to the business.

He will be based at the estate agency’s Cobham office in Surrey.

Corbett most recently spent nearly five years as a partner at Carter Jonas, having also worked at Sullivan Thomas, Greenslade Taylor Hunt and Savills.

James Somers has been promoted to head of central London lettings. He joined the business in March.

His appointment comes after a successful period for the company, which in the last six months has seen the central London lettings team appointed on 395 instructions, growing their portfolio substantially.

Guy Bradshaw, head of residential at United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty, said: Our business continues to thrive this year, which is testament to the strength of our service and ability to deliver what our clients want and need.

“As the lettings market is hotter than ever, it’s crucial that we have the best possible team in place. Try before you buy is on the rise and more clients than ever before are being attracted to the flexibility that renting offers.

“Lettings will continue to be a focus for our business over the next 12 months.

Jason is a real asset to our team. Our country team lists some of the most prestigious properties in the home counties.”
