UK virtual tours firm clinches global deal with fast-growing US estate agency firm

UK firm EYESpy360, which provides virtual tours, has won an exclusive deal with global estate agency operation eXp Realty.

EyeSpy360 will offer eXp agents in the USA, Canada, Australia and the UK an embedded and dedicated virtual tour solution, rebranded as eXp 360 Tours.

All eXp agents will be able to create their own virtual tours, 3D models and floorplans.

Agents can also use it to host live video-based open houses and viewings.

EyeSpy 360 already has customers in over 76 countries round the world and operates in a number of sectors, including estate agency and property portals, education and fashion.

Andrew Nicholls, CEO of EyeSpy360, said: “There is a shift in paradigm as to how consumers visualise a property during their search phase and how they conduct and pre-qualify viewings via a mobile or any other device.”

eXp soft-launched in the UK at the beginning of this month, led by Adam Day, formerly of Hatched, easyProperty, and Emoov, and who says that a number of agents have already signed up to its model including from Purplebricks, Yopa and Keller Williams.

The official launch is mid-November.

To me this shows exp are a cheap agent. If they wanted to do this properly they would have teamed up with matterport.

It doesn’t say that at all! It doesn’t make them a cheap agent because they don’t use an expensive bit of kit. Good on them

Nope they are using second rate kit. From what i have seen so far from EXP and KW its all about territory owners creaming off the top.

EXP are suppose to embrace tech, why are they happy to use something that is far less than the best? Probably the same recruiting staff.

Matterport is a superior product but takes around 1 hour per thousand square feet of property.  So a large house can take several hours – and it can be too long for clients to cope with never mind the agent.

Other solutions are more time efficient and provide a very good user experience too.

Sounds like some training needed if you use Matterport.

Takes no more than 45 mins to do a standard 3 bed house, allows you to use 4k photographs and also allows you to measure the property in this time.

Fully appreciate its more expensive but its a far superior product.
