Property investment firm Thorpe & Co has bought a 50% in Salford-based estate agency Mr Investa, which specalises in buy-to-let property, for an undisclosed fee.
The company will provide Mr Investa, which launched in February last year, with finance and expertise, in addition to lettings and property management services.
Thorpe & Co’s managing director David Thorpe is a long-term business mentor of Mr Investa founder Ryan Hughes, with the pair growing up close by in Salford.
Thorpe said: “Ryan has been a friend of mine for many years and I have watched his career progress with great interest.
“Having admired his work ethic and knowledge of the buy-to-let market, the opportunity to join Mr Investa was frankly too good to miss.”
Mr Investa aims to help landlords find tenants as well as manage properties for them.
Hughes commented: “Having the support of David and Thorpe & Co is a real win for Mr Investa and our clients.
“Being able to offer its excellent lettings and property management service should prove instrumental in helping landlords maximise their investments.”
