I was expecting Iain McKenzie but not quite this soon. When the CEO vacancies were highlighted the other week Iain would be a strong candidate for several of them but particularly Countrywide

Robert
It would make a welcome change again at CWD having someone in charge who has actually experienced with a number of the brands Iain previously MD South – Austin & Wyatt, Carson, Mann Countrywide, Morris Dibben, Gascoigne Pees and Watson Bull & Porter.
Although you would argue Creffield was homegrown but not on the residential side
With Robin Paterson with his eye on the prize having previously sold Hamprtons to CWD as well .The succession at CWD to the departing Long & Creffield will certainly be interesting .
I wonder if Peter Rollings has got the appetite for it as one big last estate agency challenge ? I hope so maybe with Mark Fitzgerald (Sherry Fitzgerald) as a backer in a possible takeover ?
CWD have enjoyed a golden patch in terms of sales at the gate over the last few months so certainly something positive to work with

Very well deserved praise from Simon for Iain who has done so much to take The Guild of Propertymark Professionals to a new high and wider audience than ever before. He leads and inspires.

Iain has taken the Guild from something service suppliers were wary of to a respected organisation that’s high on their target list. I’d suggest the Guild is the largest Agency, bigger than CW, LSL, Connells and the franchise groups so to build that and herd as many business owners into a solid and innovative group is an almighty achievement.
He is comfortable before an audience and a camera and one to one is nice. Where some people (desperately) aspire to even be considered for top job at CW for Iain it would be a side step across and then a big loss for the Guild.
