Stephen Jury, who was formerly at eMoov where he was in charge of PR and marketing, has joined Plentific.
Jury, whose very sudden departure from the online agent surprised many, told EYE: “I’m really excited to join Plentific as their head of marketing.
“I met with a number of proptech firms while I was looking for my next job but this role really stood out as a fantastic opportunity with a fast-growing company.
“The founders and backers have huge ambitions to grow Plentific’s home improvement marketplace and I love the challenges that come with growing a brand.”
Plentific launched in 2014, originally using listings provided by Zoopla, and with a feature for home movers designed to guide them through the entire process.
It now concentrates on offering consumers a ‘find a tradesman or professional’ service, allowing them to find anything from an architect to a conveyancer, builder and plumber.
Plentific, which already powers the Find a Pro search function for Zoopla, has announced a new partnership with the Planning Portal, which receives over 30,000 visits a day.
More than 85% of all planning applications in the UK are submitted via the website – equating to over 522,000 in the last 12 months.
Congratulations to Stephen. I’m sure I’m not alone in wishing him all the very best

Just a thought.
