The Conveyancing Association sets date and unveils theme for 2026 conference

The Conveyancing Association (CA) has announced the date and theme for its 2026 Annual Conference, which will take place on Thursday 12 February at The Belfry Hotel & Resort.

The event, titled ‘Conveyancing Under The Spotlight’, will examine how firms and stakeholders can improve collaboration and communication across the home-moving process.

The agenda, to be published shortly, will feature contributions from consumers, industry professionals, and key stakeholders. Sessions will focus on practical steps for increasing operational efficiency and improving client outcomes.

The conference will be chaired by CA Board Director Eddie Goldsmith. Confirmed speakers include:

+ David Smith, Economics Editor, The Sunday Times (keynote)

+ David Opie, Managing Director, Today’s Media Group

+ Paula Higgins, Chief Executive, HomeOwners Alliance

+ Kate Faulkner, Chair, Home Buying and Selling Council

The event is open to CA member firms as well as non-members.

Nicky Heathcote, non-executive chair of CA, said: “Next year our Annual Conference will provide the perfect opportunity to take stock of where we are as a conveyancing sector and to look ahead at how we can continue to raise standards and deliver a better home moving experience for all.

“Our 2026 theme, ‘Conveyancing Under The Spotlight’, reflects our commitment to listening to what consumers, stakeholders, and our own members are saying, and using those insights to drive further improvement.

“I’m delighted that we’ll be joined by such a strong line-up of speakers and sponsors once again, this time at a brand new venue at The Belfry, and look forward to another day of lively debate, practical ideas, and collaboration. More details on the full programme of sessions for the Conference will follow shortly.”
