At Home has completed the acquisition of Clarke and Charlesworth, the Storrington based estate agents that specialises in country and exclusive homes in and around the surrounding area.

Sussex based At Home, headed up by Paul Davies, plans to focus primarily on online marketing to adapt to changes in buyer behaviour and new marketing methods following acquisition of the rival firm.

Davies commented: “Clarke and Charlesworth share many of the same values as myself and At Home, making this a natural fit. I now want to use the unique marketing principles that we’ve developed and used so successfully at At Home to provide a better service to home owners of more prestigious properties. At the same time, I hope to develop and grow Clarke and Charlesworth across the region.

“The principles we’ve applied at At Home over the last seven years include a combination of factors such as using drone footage, video and virtual tours and really high-quality photography, ensuring we have an expert team when it comes to valuations and buyer psychology and ensuring our marketing is always well targeted.

“We have a proven track record of success at At Home and I’m confident that the strategies we use will be extremely successful with more exclusive properties. I’m really excited to begin this new era and I’m working closely with the outgoing owner to ensure a smooth transition over the next few months.”
