Student property search engine University Cribs has expanded into the London market.
The portal, which last year had a valuation of £1.1m before even launching, will feature properties from landlords, halls of residence and letting agents in the capital, adding to the 25 university towns it caters for in England and Wales.
There are 156 letting agents on the site including Campbell Property and Condor Properties.
Students can search by location and view details such as the rent, property details and pictures and can arrange viewings through the website.
Jack Jenkins, co-founder of University Cribs, said: “Higher education is a key economic driver for the UK and we are pleased to be supporting the sector with our tech solution for the student rentals market.
“University Cribs’ rapid growth has led to a very high level of adoption and we are well on our journey towards becoming the ‘go to’ for anyone looking for student accommodation, anywhere in the UK.
“By partnering with providers such as CRM Students and Homes for Students, quality accommodation is available at the touch of a button.”
