Strutt & Parker is to have a new boss, three years after it was acquired by BNP Paribas Real Estate.
BNP Paribas Real Estate UK’s current CEO, Andy Martin, is stepping up into an international business development role.
His UK deputy, Etiennne Prongué, takes over at the top in the UK.
The changes are scheduled for July 1.
Martin, who was Strutt & Parker’s senior partner at the time of the acquisition in 2017, said: “It has been an honour to lead Strutt & Parker and BNP Paribas Real Estate through these last ten transformational years.
“The merger has allowed us to create a powerful nationwide offering across the full property lifecycle.
“I’m proud of the business we have built and what we have achieved.”
Prongué said: “Over the last 15 years BNP Paribas Real Estate has grown into a €1bn business across Europe.
“The UK is a strategically important market and it’s where we see significant opportunities. I am excited to be leading the business through this next phase in our growth.”
Other changes at BNP Paribas Real Estate UK include head of valuation Stephen Wolfe taking on an expanded role as head of commercial, while Louis Harding and Kate Eales will be stepping into new leadership roles on the residential side.
Strutt & Parker has some 67 offices in the UK and was founded some 130 years ago. Since the acquisition, Strutt & Parker’s residential and rural businesses have continued under the brand, while the commercial business has operated under the BNP Paribas Real Estate name.
