Hamptons International staff have put their best feet forward to raise £6,000 for Cancer Research UK.
The agent’s employees have been tasked with raising £150 each as part of the brand’s 150th birthday celebrations and 30 staff members did their bit by taking part in the ASICS London 10k run on Sunday, July 21.
The run takes participants around iconic London landmarks including Trafalgar Square, Big Ben and Embankment.
It is just one of many fundraising activities the business has already participated in, with a recent company-wide golf day raising more than £7,000 and a mini music festival called ‘Snowchella’ raising a further £2,500.
Next in the fundraising pipeline is ‘Relay Around the Regions’, a race covering the entire Hamptons network using various modes of transport from roller skates to rowing boats.
Lesley Cairns, managing director at Hamptons International, said: “The team at Hamptons International are racing to raise their £150 for Cancer Research and the camaraderie is infectious.
“We raised a significant amount, and it was wonderful to see our employees rally together to complete this race for the second year running.
“I would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who has donated, and those who cheer us on our way. On to the next fundraiser.”
