Spicerhaart has made a major senior-level appointment, strengthening its top tier as it continues its expansion strategy.

Daniel Ansell, 36, has been appointed as managing director of its Taurus Chapter, and is now responsible for a number of its estate agency brands: Haybrook, Butters John Bee, Darlows and haart, as well as ensuring the smooth running of all key business relationships.

He was previously with Connells for over a decade, latterly as an area director responsible for 12 branches, but originally started his career as a trainee negotiator with Countrywide.

He said: “When I first started talking to Spicerhaart, meeting the people and learning about the culture, I knew if I was lucky enough to secure the role, I would take it with both hands.

“This is an incredible opportunity and I am looking forward to helping people realise their potential, both personally and for the business. My ambitions are to grow market share and profitability while ensuring our teams have a great environment to work in.

“I’ve overcome a few challenges in my life and I understand how difficult it can be for some people, but I’m here to help and support others and if I can help others to overcome things in life that seem impossible to deal with then I am happy.”

Spicerhaart group MD, Antony Lark, commented: “I am delighted that Daniel has joined the Spicerhaart team. During our meetings, his competitiveness and passion shone through and I am excited to see what lays ahead for his Chapter.”
