Software provider cancels subscription rise this year ‘in show of support for industry’

Software provider Eurolink has announced that it will not hike its fees for its Veco product, as had been planned.

It says it has cancelled its 5% subscription rise to support the industry.

The firm says the decision to waive the increase was taken in the light of the loss of tenant fee income streams, referral fees coming under scrutiny and a changing market.

CEO Richard Murray said: “Our clients have got enough challenges at the moment without us imposing an albeit nominal increase to their costs.

“We hope this will be seen as a show of support and we encourage other suppliers to do the same thing this year.”

The increase was due to come into effect this month.

Eurolink has not ruled out a rise in a year’s time but says it will make the decision later.

It maybe a marketing ploy (it worked as never heard of them and now checked out the website) but hats off shows they are at least in touch with agents and have a degree of compassion.
