A firm specialising in lead generation for agents has received investment from the National Association of Realtors.
NAR has taken a minority stake in ActivePipe, an automated communication platform based in Australia and which launched in the UK three months ago.
ActivePipe is one of only eight companies admitted to NAR’s accelerator programme.
The announcement comes off the back of a successful $5.9m Series A funding round in February led by NAB Ventures and Australian-based PieLab Ventures.
The funding enabled ActivePipe to set up in Texas in March.
Being on NAR’s accelerator programme will give it access to the 1.3m member agents that belong to NAR.
Ashley Farrugia, CEO of ActivePipe, said the aim is to make it the must-have property technology for all real estate professionals.
The firm launched in 2015 and reached rapid penetration in Australia and New Zealand, now claiming to have over 20% market share.
Its platform complements all popular CRM systems, by analysing and predicting the data – something it calls bringing it to life.
In the UK, it now has 32 agents on board, including Manning Stainton, Lawrence Rand, Gibbs Gillespie and Balgores Property, and says it has generated thousands of leads for these estate agents.
A spokesperson for the company said: “Our inclusion in the NAR Reach program is going to further enhance our UK clients’ experience as we build on functionality of our software and add more features that our users are going to love.”
