Shock as estate agency owner dies suddenly

A community has been left in shock following the sudden death a well-known estate agent.

Ciaran McGurgan, who founded Maison Real Estate in Armagh in 2014, died on Saturday.

The 41-year-old helped to grow the company into one of the biggest estate agencies in Northern Ireland.

As well as his Armagh branch, which started in Scotch Street before moving to the former First Trust bank site in Lower English Street, he opened a branch in Dungannon in 2015, alongside business partner Jeremy Baird.

A family death notice shared, with Armagh, stated: “McGurgan, Ciaran. (Ennislare Road, Armagh) suddenly March 19th 2022.

“Dearly beloved partner of Paul, loving son of Boe and Betty and much-loved brother of Adrian and Sean.

“Sacred Heart of Jesus pray for him.”
