Sales progression platform set to launch Sellers Information Pack

mio is set to launch its digital Sellers Information Pack (SIP), designed to make it easy for agents to gather upfront material information and comply with National Trading Standards.

The SIP pulls together comprehensive material information about the seller’s property in one place, supporting estate agents with compliance to the Consumer Protection Regulations and The Property Ombudsman best practice guidelines, while making it easier to prepare sellers, at the point of instruction, with all the necessary details needed to list the property for sale.

mio SIP key features:

  • Supporting estate agents with National Trading Standards Part A (Property, Price, Tenure, Council Tax Band) compliance
  • A digital Property Information Form sellers can complete on instruction
  • Qualify property ownership with Official Land Registry title documents and boundary plan
  • Discover how complicated the transaction may be at the very start of the process potentially saving you time and money

The SIP forms the basis of a different conversation at market appraisal and reinforces the agents message to encourage the seller to instruct their conveyancer without delay. The technology makes it easy to share important information early on with other professionals involved in the transaction. This enables them to start their important groundwork early, using verified factual information, and flag and resolve any issues early to avoid unwelcome delays or worse, the sale falling through.

mio Sales Director, Nick Ball, said: “The mio Sellers Information Pack readies sellers for listing and sale from the start and accelerates the sales progression process for agents.  The ability to improve transaction success and timescales is great news for agents as it means the investment that goes into winning new sales instructions isn’t wasted. We’d like to see even more agents embrace these small changes that are proven to deliver big rewards. Agents can now use the SIP to take greater control of the sale from instruction and steer their sales towards better outcomes for buyers and sellers.”

The Sellers Information Pack will be available to agents on the mio sales management hub from Friday, 14th April.
