Romans, the fast growing firm in the Thames Valley with large ambitions, has bought local firm Campsie’s.

The price has not been revealed. Further details have also not been disclosed.

Campsie has been established for over 40 years, and joined the Orchard & Shipman Group in 2005.

Campie’s has branches in Staines, West Drayton and Windsor.

Romans emphasised that it still has £12m for further acquisitions.

Orchard & Shipman has specialised in doing deals with local councils, including Scottish local authorities.
