Rightmove’s free training webinars for agents are expanding to include guest presenters in the form of industry experts.

Last month a record 1,500 agents attended the online sessions for advice on increasing their competitive edge in their local area, and to ensure they are making the most of free Rightmove tools.

The guest presenters will include Suzy Hershman from mydeposits, industry trainer and EYE columnist Julian O’Dell, and David Cox from ARLA.

The ARLA-hosted session will be the first webinar that agents can also offer to their own clients to join.

Rightmove’s webinar manager Jason Charles said: “Many agents have said they find our webinar programme really useful, so to bolster it even further we’ve invited industry experts to offer advice on their specialist areas, alongside our usual topics.

“With so many new changes coming up in lettings, we wanted to give agents the chance to offer landlords access to the ARLA webinar so they understand what the latest changes mean for them and how their agents can help them.

“We’d welcome any thoughts from agents about other subjects they would like to hear from experts on, so we can broaden the programme even further.”

The ARLA-hosted webinar is on Wednesday this week at 7.30pm and will offer advice about the new Right to Rent legislation, and is open to both Rightmove agents and to their landlords or prospective landlords. Mydeposits Webinar

Suzy Hershman, head of dispute resolution at mydeposits, will be hosting a webinar for letting agents on Friday this week, at 9.30am.  She will be offering advice on the processes needed at tenant check-in stage and help with deposit negotiations at check-out in the event of a dispute.

Julian O’Dell will be hosting a two-part series on winning instructions, sharing a range of insights from generating more appraisals to winning in the home. The first session takes place at 9am on 11^th March and the second at 9am on 18th March.
