Rightmove is to carry out a full review on an agent which lists properties on the portal under the name of SW16.
However, when EYE called the number given on Rightmove’s site, we were told we were through to a different agency, Home to Move.
Yesterday, a Rightmove spokesperson told us: “Rightmove’s data quality team will be carrying out a full review of the current customer.”

I expect the data quality team will briefly check the account is up to date and then take a dip in their champagne filled swimming pool before dining on roast swan in the staff canteen.
What’s wrong with that? The agent is paying £1000 for the privilege.
Why not question rightmove on allowing payanyway agents on their site even though the public don’t know what it really means to sell your own house.
