Rightmove is our absolute must, say over eight in ten vendors

More than eight in ten home sellers say that being on Rightmove is their most important choice of marketing, way ahead of both Zoopla and OnTheMarket.

The result is in the Home Moving Trends Survey 2015, revealed at the Sales and Marketing Live! event on Friday.

A survey before the event received responses from 5,420 people who were selling their home or investment property.

The most interesting results were that 55% of people visited an agent’s website before inviting them for a valuation, with only 32% visiting the agent’s office prior to instructing them.

A staggering 82% of respondents didn’t choose the agent with the lowest fee.

And when asked which website was the most important to them, 85% of sellers said Rightmove, with only 11% opting for Zoopla and 5% going for  OnTheMarket as their number 1 choice.

Full coverage of last Friday’s packed-out LIVE! event is on EYE tomorrow.

Well, look at that. 85% didn’t go with the cheapest.

The 2 boys loosing the online only game while winning the race to the floor on profits scratch their heads not understanding why they haven’t had the traction they have said they would by now with all the £ *** per hour nonsense could do well to get over the fact that £500 upfront hasn’t cut it and is all a bit 2013 / not exciting
