The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is reportedly conducting final interviews for the position of chair of its Governing Council, with a view to replacing interim chair Chris Brooke, whose term is due to end soon.
The latest news comes as filings on Companies House for RICS Holdings reveal a number of recent changes at director level.
The latest filing, issued on 25 August, reveals that chief market officer Matthew Harrison had been made a director of RICS Holdings.
A filing from 6 August showed that chief executive Sean Tompkins was, after four years, no longer “a person with significant control” with the “right to appoint and remove directors”.
An earlier filing, from 3 August, showed that Violetta Parylo’s appointment as a director of RICS Holdings had been terminated.
Last month it was reported that Alison Levitt QC had delivered to RICS findings of her inquiry into the controversial goings-on at the institution which resulted in four whistle-blowing directors being dismissed in 2019. They had raised the alarm over the content of the body’s 2018 financial report.
The findings have not yet been made public and pressure is mounting on the embattled RICS to publish them sooner rather than later
