As this bill goes through the house no doubt there will be many changes, but with the rising amount of Landlords selling up for various reasons  I predict a huge u turn!

The really sticky bit for me is the planned removal of the backstop of section 21 as a last resort. This is the lynchpin of the Renters Reform Bill and much has been trumpeted about it. You might gamble on a U turn but would it be too much of a climb-down for the Government after it has been so hyped to the media and all those voting tenants? What about the proposed EPC regulations, maybe less of a gamble for a U turn but who knows? As someone once said “predictions are dangerous especially if they are about the future”. Do you stick it out and hope or sell up to avoid potential grief? As Clint Eastward said  “do you feel lucky today punk ?”
