A tiny studio flat has been described as a ‘joke’ after images revealed that the landlord had sandwiched a single bed between the wall and the kitchen, with the sink and cooker within arm’s reach.
The property, listed on Zoopla as a ‘compact studio room’, is located between highly desirable West Kensington and Baron’s Court stations in London.
Twitter user Lieke tweeted a photo of the £390 per month studio flat, writing: “Randomly browsing apartments on Zoopla for no reason and I came across this. London housing is such a joke.”
A Twitter feed offers an idea of what other prospective tenants think of the property on offer:

That little nugget got swept quickly under the carpet… wonder how many additional “page views” it has got as a result of the publicity – from other people with no interest whatsoever in renting it?
It is an unlawful property to rent. Does not comply to minimum dimensions, building regulations, HSSR or fire regulations.
Why would any agent take on such a listing? In a market where the average rent is around x10 this rent- just why!? A bad, dangerous property that makes your agency and the Landlord look very, very bad. Utterly bizarre!
