Rental property of the week: Room for rent, must know how to solve Brexit!

Here’s a rental property in a good central location, but there is one downside: you have to lead the country.

Just hours after outgoing Prime Minister Theresa May announced plans to stand down last week, flat sharing website Ideal Flatmate had a mock listing up for 10 Downing Street.

Renters get one room, a gym and concierge plus a large shoe closet, dark corners to cry in and of course Larry the Downing Street cat.

The listing states that tenants should be an “outgoing, resilient type that hates European holidays” and pleads for no one called Boris to apply.

The rent is a steal at just £2,000 per month, but you do of course have to put your political career on the line.
