Relocation Agent Network, the national network of independent estate agents across England, Scotland and Wales, is marking its 20th anniversary this year.
It started out as the Relocation Centre Network in 1994, before becoming Home Sale Network and, in 2012, Relocation Centre Network.
The Network was launched by American corporate relocation giant Cartus with the aim of creating a UK network of ‘local experts’ that guide relocating employees and their families through the home-buying and selling process.
Today, that ‘local expert’ ethos still remains, with just one estate agent office recruited per territory.
In addition to helping Cartus move families, Relocation Agent Network members also help their own relocating customers via a referral network.
Relocation Agent Network estimates that its member estate agents have sold more than £1.2bn worth of properties since 1994, and that in the last ten years, they have helped over 110,000 people move home through their referral network.
The organisation has also raised over £51,000 for charity over the last decade.
Managing director Richard Tucker said: “It is fantastic to be celebrating 20 years of Relocation Agent Network as well as 20 years of excellence in estate agency.
“Each one of our members has been specially selected to represent us in their local area, based on their local knowledge and – above all – the customer service they provide.
“Twenty years is a significant milestone in Relocation Agent Network’s journey and I look forward to celebrating the next 20 years of achievement.”
