Reapit is once again in the process of making changes to its senior management team that could have a major impact on operations in the UK.
While Mark Armstrong, appointed UK and Group CEO in January last year, remains group chief executive overseeing business operations in Australia, Ireland, Denmark, as well as here in the UK, Reapit’s Patrick Hannah is no longer in charge of daily operations in the UK, as general manger.
Hannah, who will continue at the company as chief marketing officer, took over as UK general manager in January on a trial basis.
It was hoped internally that his appointment would become permanent this month if all worked out well.
Hannah told EYE in January that the CEO role has changed somewhat since Armstrong’s appointment due to the substantial acquisitions in ANZ and Denmark.
“Those other regions each have a regional MD/CEO,” said Hannah. “In the UKI market he has been playing that role as well as the global, group role.”
Hannah added: “Mark [Armstrong] is evaluating whether his dual role is sustainable and if not then what type of UKI MD does he need to work alongside him and give additional support to the UKI business. I’m doing that role for the next four months to help define the needs of the job.”
EYE can reveal that following the four-month period, Hannah will now focus solely on his role as chief marketing officer.
During his brief tenure, Reapit, backed by private equity firm Accel-KKR, completed the acquisition of Inspect Real Estate (IRE) and MoveMeIn (MMI), boosting its customer base to more than 50% of Australian real estate agencies.
IRE, a provider of time-saving work-flow productivity software, has been established in real estate software services across Australia and New Zealand since 2011.
MMI is an independent utilities comparison and connections service that partners with real estate agencies to find tenants the best energy and internet deals in the market. Founded in 2017 as a division of IRE, MMI has more than 2,000 real estate agencies as partners, delivering more than 165,000 connection services to tenants since its inception.
IRE and MMI joined software products Console Cloud (Property Management), Agentbox (CRM), and Proposalpoint (digital marketing services) as part of the Reapit ANZ product suite.
Reapit is expected to unveil the latest changes to its management and structure in the UK in due course.
Whole crm industry needs changing in estate agency. All data should be shared ( not personal data obvs) for api use.
At moment we are stuck with legacy software unless we want to start again with a new compsny. It’s holding back the industry
