Purplebricks named UK’s worst-performing agency for customer experience

allAgents, the reviews platform, has named Purplebricks as the UK’s worst-performing property firm for customer experience.

The news regarding Purplebricks’ poor performance on the allAgent’s platform, based on the last 12 months, comes just a few days after the company posted a gloomy trading update.

AllAgents Martin McKenzie said: “In our view, Purplebricks have to improve on their customer satisfaction rates if they hope to once again increase their market share.

“They are known for promoting their countless glowing five-star reviews on TrustPilot, as well as closed review platform Feefo, however, will regularly avoid any mention of their one-star review status on allAgents, the UK’s largest property review website.”

He continued: “It seems clear that the public and investors won’t be fooled anymore. Purplebricks have to be more open and transparent about the company’s past failings, such as their failure to register tenant deposits and why there is such a disparity in ratings from the industries very own ‘trip advisor’ to their reviews on Trustpilot, which they pay for additional services.”

But McKenzie has “cautiously” welcomed the online agency’s change of leadership.

“I look forward to seeing the fresh new direction that recently appointed chief executive officer Helena Marston steers the company toward,” he added. “Perhaps then PurpleBricks can be recognised as one of the UK’s highest performing property companies for customer experience.”

Purplebricks did not respond to EYE’s request for comment.

Allagents is just as full of fake reviews as the other sites, with 0 support to have them removed. My company currently have 3 fake reviews, which we’re 99% sure are from a disgruntled competitor, flagged them with support but still waiting almost a year later for anything to be done.

At this stage I think we’ll just remove ourselves from their site and would urge others to do the same.

I think you’d be hard pressed to find a customer who knows what Allagents is anyway

I am not an exponent of All Agents. If you dont pay them, reports of fake reviews fall on deaf ears. HOWEVER, to their credit, they held their nerve in the face of threaten litigation from PB to remove negative reviews where others buckled.

    Credit where it’s due.

“Property Eye asked for a comment out of business hours.”

I thought that the whole point of this s**t Shower was that they operated 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a yearbecause they were breaking the mould of traditional estate agency??

And on the other foot, weren’t PB allegedly getting good reviews on Trust Pilot for just listing  a property and not the full service cycle (arguably manipulation) and more than a few ‘poor service’ posts from their customers?
