Here are a couple more contenders for the most beautiful or quirky estate agency office in the UK.
First up is the undeniably lovely Clive Pearce Property office in Lemon Street, Truro, lovingly restored in the last 18 months.
Exterior and interior photos are above.
And now take a look at something completely different, below.
R Whitley & Co, in West Drayton, Middlesex, has an office that has changed quite a bit over the years.
Number 40 Station Road was bought in 1952 as a family home, with plans to convert the garage into an office – see first picture taken that year.
In 1953, the firm moved from just along the road into the premises – as can be seen from the second picture.
The third picture was taken in 1985, after 40 Station Road was fully converted.
And the final picture shows the building as it is today.
Incidentally, the firm itself has an interesting family history.
With war just around the corner, it was established in 1938 by Ronald Whitley. In 1956, Ronald’s eldest son John joined the company.
In 1994, Ronald’s grandson Christopher joined the company, while in 2004 another grandson, Richard, also joined, followed by a third grandson, Jonathan, in 2014.
It was Jonathan Whitley who kindly sent in the pictures.
EYE would like to thank the many readers who sent in pictures of offices that they are obviously so very proud of.
We will feature more tomorrow and in the New Year.
