PropTech firm Iamproperty has added a new survey module to its Movebutler platform.
Designed to speed up the conveyancing process and reduce the risk of residential property transactions falling through, the new module aims to encourage surveys as early as possible in the transaction to help raise any issues that may cause problems later on.
Iamproperty Movebutler is designed to connect buyers and sellers with a UK-wide network of RICs-qualified chartered surveyors. Appointments can be requested digitally and surveyors offer advice on the options available, including RICS Home Survey Level 2 (Survey Only), RICS Home Survey Level 2 (Survey and Valuation), and RICS Home Survey Level 3. Progress is tracked within Movebutler.
The platform is modular, combining AML compliance, upfront material information, legal preparation and conveyancing, and now surveys.
This latest update to Movebutler is the second so far this year, following enhancements to the platform’s legal preparation module.
Ben Ridgway, co-founder of Iamproperty, said: “Our partner agents trust us to keep Movebutler up to date in line with their evolving needs, and our continuous development ethos meant that the survey module was the natural next step.
“It is all about helping to move surveys to earlier in the process, for the benefit of the transaction for all parties.”
