Proptech specialist Eddie Holmes has been named on a Sunday Times list of 100 successful business people nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs.
The list, which includes the likes of Martha Lane-Fox and Sir Tom Farmer, showcases those who give their time, earnings and expertise willingly to support new companies.
At only 31, Holmes is also a mentor with the Prince’s Trust.
Last week, it emerged that he had advised on the deal whereby Zoopla, Countrywide and Connells have all backed repairs reporting firm Fixflo.
This month, Holmes became a board adviser to Fixflo.
His CV includes stints as a negotiator with Bradford & Bingley estate agents, and four years heading up estate agency recruitment firm AMR in the north east.
He has also been investment director of Spire Ventures, which specialises in backing property and property-related businesses, and a non executive director of estate agent Ivy Gate.
He founded a charity, Launch22, two years ago to provide free and subsidised workplace to new companies and last year launched as a proptech consultant.
Also on the Sunday Times ‘Mazerati 100’ list is Steve Smith, founder of Poundland, and chairman of online agent Estates Direct.
