Propertymark has announced the launch of new signage for member agencies to show prospective clients they have successfully achieved accreditation.
The industry body says the new logo design was influenced by research independently conducted by YouGov in which consumers overwhelmingly chose the wording that would make them want to engage and instruct.
Propertymark hopes that the certified and accredited logo will engender trust similar to that put in ABTA travel ratings and Food Standards Agency hygiene ratings.
By transitioning to a single, authoritative logo, Propertymark wants to try and make it easier than ever for consumers to identify qualified, regulated professionals.
This new logo will be exclusively available to those who take up a new Company Advantage package.
Propertymark has used the launch of the new logo as an opportunity to promote its service, insisting that it is delivering more for its members through Company Advantage, exclusively for companies and designed to cut overall operating cost and generate direct income streams into the branch.
Propertymark says it has also flexed its considerable buying power, purchasing in bulk, and Propertymark’s passing on these savings direct to members, providing agents with the buying power of big businesses and a fraction of the cost.
The packages will also see the removal of accountant’s reports for all those with client funds less than £1m (excluding deposits) as the organisations expansion has seen these services developed inhouse for members in order to save considerable outlays.
The raft of other benefits in the package include, inclusive AML tokens with income generation, Cyber mobile security and healthchecks, Terms of Business, Specialist helpline support for employment law, tax and VAT + extended access to lettings and sales helplines UK wide, a Business Hub of templates, tools and resources, Connect – Propertymark’s brand new income generation platform, inclusion in Propertymark’s new sector specific comprehensive blanket PI policy included as standard. Business owners will also receive a ticket to Propertymark One.
Along with all this, those who sign up to Company Advantage will immediately be able to use the new logo.
Nathan Emerson, CEO of Propertymark, commented: “We know agents need more from their Propertymark membership and we’re delivering. On the face of things, a new logo doesn’t seem groundbreaking, however, this will drastically improve consumer recognition down the line and will play a pivotal role in giving you the recognition you deserve in your profession.
“We will continue to introduce industry leading, cost effective and innovative ways to improve your output and visibility and I urge you to save yourself not only the headache and stress of some of these onerous tasks but take advantage of Propertymark’s buying power to a level never seen before and cut back on real time costs by joining our new Company Advantage.”
Really like the new logo but those who haven’t chosen to take up ‘company advantage’ keep the old one??? Isn’t that more confusing to the consumer? Is it making the agents who haven’t chosen to take up company advantage appear second rate?

Agreed.
Is it a Propertymark logo or a Company Advantage (i paid more) logo.
Apparently you can be Propertymark certified and accredited but not be entitled to use the Propertymark logo unless you pay up for Company Advantage.
Needs re-thinking.

Very Similar to the old NAEA logo v the NAEA Licensed Agent logo where you had to have jumped a further hurdle to use.
