Propertymark chair accepts new lead role with the Conveyancing Association

Nicky Heathcote, Propertymark’s interim executive chair, will now also work with The Conveyancing Association, stepping into the role of non-executive chair with immediate effect.

A well-respected figure, Heathcote has more than 30 years’ experience in the public sector and holds several, complimentary roles including, Chair of the PCCB Compliance Committee within the Code of Property Search Organisations (COPSO) and Ambassador for NedonBoard.

Heathcote has been with Propertymark since 2018, starting as a non-executive director before progressing into her current role in 2020.

She said: “I am looking forward to adding The Conveyancing Association into my portfolio of non-executive positions. This will give me a broader view of the housing market, and Propertymark will be well placed to benefit from my new knowledge and experience.

“I look forward to continuing my work at Propertymark, keeping the energy going with member relationships, and ensuring they really are at the heart of all we do.”

Reflecting on new appointment, Nathan Emerson, of Propertymark said “We are very pleased for Nicky and feel that her new role will be hugely beneficial for partnership working and future relationships.

“From everyday progressing on the ground, to board level, property agents and conveyancers have a natural relationship, Nicky’s new appointment is a continuation of that relationship.”
