A number of property firms and individuals have made the finals of this year’s Lloyds Bank National Business Awards.
Among them are Property Partner, listed in the digital business of the year category, which sets out to be the ‘stock market’ for property, allowing investors’ stakes in homes to be bought and traded in the same way as shares. The business was launched, and is run, by Daniel Gandesha.
Instinctif Partners, a public relations and consultancy firm which specialises in property, is in the employer of the year category.
Paul Gratton, CEO of property firm SDL Group, which runs a number of businesses including the UK franchise for Century 21, is in the entrepreneur of the year category.
Gratton, who became SDL’s CEO in 2006. has since increased its turnover from £8m to over £60m, with a projected £93m in the current financial year.
Clive Sykes, of holiday lettings firm Sykes Cottages, is listed in the same category.
ZPG is in the mid-market business of the year category, which is open to listed companies with a turnover between £25m and £200m.
All entrants will have to present to judges in September.
This year’s award ceremony will take place on November 14 at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London, where the winners will be revealed.
