Here is our Picture of the Week. Or we should say pictures, which come, as they almost always do, courtesy of Rightmove.

In fact, it was Rightmove itself which alerted us through its round-up of quirky property listings in May.

In fairness, the round-up doesn’t actually say the properties were listed in May, only makes the suggestion, saying: “The quirky properties have kept coming and this May we’ve got some pretty special ones to share with you . . .”

May?

Well, the house with the turret was listed in January; the converted railway station was added in February; the old post office was listed on Rightmove in April; and the house in Milton Keynes made its appearance in March.

We can’t tell when the overseas property was listed so it may have made its debut this month.

Or, on the other hand, may not.
