Pictures of the Week: And they’re giving us dark thoughts

Pictures of the Week – and we are sorry if we are adding to any Monday gloom.

However, it looks like the only time the photographer had to take the exteriors was, well, in the dark.

Or just maybe the camera lens could not cope with the Essex sunlight.

As for the inside, there’s not much light there either – but just enough to see that the television is working and to make out that most of the rooms are rather too well lived in.

We think we’ll pass on the offer to see more properties like this.

This agent should be ashamed of themselves.

This “agent” seemingly has no shame, Sunbeam175!

Looks like a typical example of instructing an out of area agent who went out especially to take pictures when maybe weather conditions were against them and not being local enough just to go back they decided to publish!

Here at Blossom Properties we do not make promises! We only present you with a “clear picture” of the reality that we can offer you.

    Taken from their OTM page….

Wow… Also, with digital/phone cameras, how is it possible to put up pictures out of focus without knowing?? You can see it’s blurred when you take the picture, and you can open the Gallery to check before you leave!

And also, ewwww. I suspect this to be a rented property that is being sold and that the Tenant is not happy about it, so has made zero effort to make it look attractive! I could be wrong, but generally people who want to sell make the effort to tidy up and at least make the bed…

Photos seem to be an issue that we could debate all day with this crew.  Here’s the starter for ten…

The company’s woeful website showcases three – YES, THREE! – glowing reviews featuring mugshots…

    …OF STOCK MODELS.

Take “Mr C Andrew, Romford”, for example:

Or how’s about “Mr Solomon R., London, Ilford”:

And, in the words of Jimmy Cricket…

    …and there’s more!

    Much, MUCH more.

Their website displays the Rightmove logo – but Rummage as much as I like, I cannot find a single “Blossom Property” listed on that portal.

Didn’t we read only last week that Cundeys get a slap on the wristies from the toothless tiger-lilies that call themselves the Advertising Standards Authority for leading “consumers” to believe they were advertising on a portal that they weren’t?

I’ve also checked BOTH of their stated ‘Contact Us’ postcodes on Rightmove, and neither of them shows up as a valid address for listings.

Interestingly, the one for IG11 8BB brings up one Agent by the name of ‘homes24seven’ – who were apparently DISSOLVED IN MAY, yet their listings are still being shown on Rightmove.

    Digging deeper…

My research also shows that Blossom Properties is also registered (if one believes the logos) of both The Property Ombudsman AND Property Redress Scheme. Guess what ? No entries recorded on either organisation’s members list.

Their use of the DPS logo to infer membership has also been raised with the relevant organisation.

THIS RESPONSE FROM DPS IS FRANKLY RIDICULOUS!

          “Hi

You would need to check with the agent directly.  We only provide logos/stickers to agents who are registered, but even if they are registered, it is no guarantee that they will protect a deposit on behalf of a landlord.”

          Did I just read that??
