Picture of the Week: What can we say – it’s a tip

Our picture of the week should carry a health warning – it is not for anyone with OCD.

And it’s about as far away as it is possible to be from the concept of home staging – or even Marigold gloves.

The loo is a hazard (we thought everyone had heard of bleach), the beds are unmade to the extent that Tracy Emin would be jealous, and it would appear the residents are awfully fond of their fast food.

The £450,000 tenanted property (which apparently can be “vacated very quickly once sale is secured”) is up for sale and on Zoopla.

And it’s not a pretty sight here

Yes it’s a mess, but really, a photograph of inside the airing cupboard and one of the stairs…. what does that add.  A floor plan would have been of more use and make more sense.

Forget criticising the tenants. Shoot the agent for taking and PUBLISHING the pictures on line. Bonkers !

Agreed. No internals, just a floor plan (and a warning!) required…. #FullFatCokeBreak

Although it has had nearly 10,000 page views in 2 weeks!

……..it doesn’t get much better with their other listings… take this moody night time shoot as an example…..

We have all seen properties like this one before……..so what do we do? If you don’t take internals every customer says “why no internals?” so we say “oh it’s a mess inside” and they say “in what way” so we say “well it’s untidy” and they say “in what way” etc etc etc. I am pretty strict on quality of internal photographs but have accepted (reluctantly) the need to always show internals as the buyers want/need to see them. It wouldn’t have taken more than a couple of mins to move stuff and get a reasonable shot…..if not there’s always Ravensworth.
