It’s small – but is it perfectly formed?

Depending on how you look at things, this studio flat in London will either shriek ‘affordability alert’  in today’s private rented sector – or the last word in day-to-day living convenience.

The shower room is, after all, separate, and easy to access especially if you remember to raise the head of the bed first.

And you could cook your baked beans without, as it were, having to stir.

It’s cheap for London at £120 per week, although that includes no bills.

The agent, who admits it is a basic flat without much room, is looking for a single person who wants a one-year minimum let. We can’t help thinking that it sounds a bit like a jail sentence.
