Picture of the Week – and this one gives us the creepers.
In John Wyndham’s terrifying post-apocalyptic novel, The Day of the Triffids, an aggressive species of plant starts killing people.
The variety of vegetation to be found in this three-bedroom house in Nottingham, up for auction next week is hopefully not quite as dangerous, but it’s still going to make the process of taking a bath rather unpleasant.
The particulars for the house, which has a guide price of £65,000 and is being marketed by GetAnOffer, say that it’s “attractively priced”.
For a house that has its own garden in the bathroom, it’s hard to disagree that it represents value.
Interested parties can head over to the auction, which takes place at the Pedigree Suite, Pride Park Stadium, Derby on February 22.
Whoever wins will just have to hope that the Triffid lets them in…
Is that a pampas green suite?

I love the use of shouty capitals in the description, bound to sell it quicker.

To be fair, RM have done research and advise agents to put features in description in capitals as helps stands out on the ‘Results’ page.
Hence way a lot of corporate agents do this. To me it makes them look a bit cheap.

To sell this property they should really turn over a new leaf or branch out!
