Picture of the Week: And we’d like to wish you a Happy Christmas

Here’s another contender for Picture of the Week – and may we be the first to wish you a Happy Christmas.

The property was listed only this week, but as you can see, the vendors are all ready for the big day, a mere five months away.

Season’s greetings, everyone!

This one was listed by Bricks early this morning as just added .27th July

Either they are not very confident of an early sale  with an open day  scheduled  for July 5th 2018 or they made a mistake and the open date has passed  but  more than likely  the property  wasn’t just added today!!

Just shows the slap dash service that you get with these call centre agents. Not only portal juggling, but whoever is re-listing this must be completely lacking in any sort of “expertise”, or more likely not care. No doubt when reported Rightmove will “look into it”.

I can see a new campaign here… Christmisery: when you put your house on at Christmas and still haven’t sold it by the end of July….

A look at the history tells you that the property has actually been listed since Boxing Day (Rightmove).

The cache copy of the listing shows it as “Sold STC” (as of 5 July).

Rightmove say their new system of defeating #portaljuggling does not allow a property to be #relisted as “new” unless it has been marked unavailable for sale for a period of at least fourteen weeks.

Therefore, this property has been “Sold” and off the market – vanished off the face of the earth as far as prospective buyers are concerned – since 18 April at the very best and potentially even earlier.

We all get fall-throughs – but I’ll wager that the vast majority of us can’t remember one that took the best part of four months to hit the fan.

Let’s hope that the vendor gets a service that promotes an early sale – and new photos should be first on the LPEs To Do List for today…

      WELL…

My belief that an appointment would’ve been hurriedly made to do a new photoshoot was, basically, wazzed upon.

What WAS, however, shuffled onto the ‘To Do List’ (following the exposure on EYE I would suggest…) was to take down all the Xmas snaps – leaving half-a-dozen poorly composed winter pics of the garden and pretty much bu99er-all else.

Can anyone remember what that old saying is – something to do with #monkeys?

I will get it… it’s on the tip of me tongue…

Monkey? I think its bananas…like you’d have to be bananas to use…..

Shall we have guesses as to how long it takes them to update the “winter scene shots”

          Well it isn’t ‘next day’ – that’s for sure…

            Hmmm…

…no change in the photos – but the property appears to be “Sold STC”.

            How utterly convenient.

Maybe they just love christmas trees…

Any decent agent would go back and take a fresh photo but I guess that’s not an option with this crowd unless the vendors put their already bitten hand back in their pockets. ahhh CONmisery!!!

The photo is so dark that if the tree wasn’t against the window I am not sure you would be able to make out what it was!
