Picture of the Week – and can you believe your eyes?
It’s a semi in a ‘favoured rural village’ (which is something only an estate agent would say) and it has a west facing rear garden.
This, it seems, has a few chickens.
Plus a black pig.
A species of what looks like Highland cattle.
And an animal we can’t quite identify but possibly a genetically modified kangaroo, or a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
As seen yesterday on both Zoopla and Rightmove, plus in the agent’s brochure for the property.
It’s definitely one to cut out and keep.
So can you believe your eyes? Probably not.
The real question is – why?
* The beasts have now been rounded up and removed from the listings and brochure but the chickens remain to rule the roost.

Marvellous The enterprising LPE must have nicked his kids animal stickers book to enhance the rural vibe
Maybe asking JV to provide the kangarooo
Perhaps a picture of Sporting Ken’s racehorse Colonel Frank which trailed in last yesterday at Yarmouth to complete the scene might have just added the flourishing touch

Was there a lot of ‘deceptively’ and ‘boasting’ in the description as well as the ‘favoured’?

I originally misread the address as Methworld – perhaps more appropriate…

‘Something only an estate agent would say’. Very funny little article. I wonder if others can come up with similar phrases that ‘only an estate agent would say’:) My favourite is ‘it’s an up and coming area’. However, some years ago I owned a flat in an ‘up and coming area’ near Cable Street in East London and after I’d managed to explain to an estate agent exactly where it was, he said something that made me realise one of the possible interpretations of ‘up and coming’. He finally said, ‘Oh I know the place – it’s a sh*t hole’.

Highly appropriate that the photo features a dinosaur, considering the seemingly endless shower of asteroids that are currently bombarding Purplebricks.
Surely it’s a sign that this dinosaur of the near-extinct NSPR Agency model is ready to be un-nailed from its’ perch…
…shuffle off its’ mortal coil…
…become an ex-agent.

Dinosaur mentality from a dinosaur living in the past. In 1997 Apple was on the brink and almost collapse as a business, only to be saved by Bill Gates, a visionary. Look at them today.

I think you’ll find Mr Gates a little tied up to help out this latest firm on the brink of self-destruction, 1TB.

Clicking on the link will only help PB. Another PR stunt. Making a mockery of the portals and getting PB all the exposure they wanted – at no cost. PR is one of the things they do well. However fictitious the message.

The unidentified animal appears to be a Velociraptor…

I always see raptors as having a more pointed snout, I’d go with T-Rex.
