Picture of the Week – and we cannot help wonder how long this listing will be for the world.

It is, apparently, an elf on the shelf’s home, in Santa Clause Lane, Lapland.

A bargain at £150,000 it is available for sale or for rent at £600 pcm as the elf is moving in with the tooth fairy.

It has self-filling festive cupboards, off-road parking for eight reindeer, and has been featured in Hello-ho-ho-ho magazine.

On the market with Simple Lettings and Sales, it can be viewed in all its yuletide glory on Rightmove, which doesn’t like fake listings at any time of the year.

We suspect the elf will be removed from the shelf before long.

And guess what – it just has!
