Picture of the Week: And, as they say, mind how you go.

We think if we’d been photographing this somewhat less than arresting property, we might have wanted to capture slightly less incriminating evidence. However, what the nature of the emergency is, is unclear – police, ambulance, dog warden?

    Police are searching for an individual known only by the initials ‘LPE’ who is alleged to have persuaded an elderly couple to part with hundreds of pounds in an act of so-called ‘Conmisery’. The victims are just the latest to suffer in a nationwide outbreak of the heartbreaking scam that has left many people in a state of financial shock when they found themselves out of pocket and still with a property to sell.
