Fine & Country’s recent annual international conference in London celebrated agencies and individuals making a notable contribution to the network.
The Fine & Country Foundation, which supports issues of homelessness and poverty prevention, recognised notable philanthropic efforts at the gathering.
Fine & Country Rugby was presented with the award for Outstanding Contribution after emerging as the highest contributor to the foundation, donating £6,500 over the past year.
Fine & Country Olney was runner-up, thanks to director Haydn van Weenen’s organisation of a charity tennis tournament that raised over £2,000 for the Ukraine Appeal.
Meanwhile, Fine & Country North Suffolk was the second runner-up for its continued pledge of £50 per completion across all locations for the foundation and its support for the local charity, the Benjamin Foundation.
The conference also featured a presentation by Fine & Country marketing manager Bel Burnell Molyneux on the impact of the foundation’s donations on homeless charities in 2022, stressing the importance of continued support from the network in the coming months and beyond.
Additionally, a silent auction held in honour of the foundation raised over £8,878 on the night through donations of items such as new ovens, towels, bedding and food packages.
The foundation’s charitable efforts will continue in 2023, said Fine & Country, with a recent donation of £10,000 going to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Turkey-Syria earthquake appeal.
The foundation has set up a fundraising page for agents within the network to add to this donation through their own fundraising efforts, with the goal of matching the £10,000 and donating a total of £20,000 to the cause.
