OnTheMarket lays on more briefing meetings as demand surges

Next week’s UK-wide meetings, at which agents will be briefed on Agent’s Mutual’s plans and able to see, pre-launch what OnTheMarket.com will look like, have been hugely over-subscribed.

Originally, there were due to be 26 events taking place between December 8 and 11.

The number has now been increased to 39 and by yesterday morning several thousand places had been reserved.

Some of the two-hour events are totally booked up, despite a suggested cap of no more than two people per branch.

Further presentations at the same venues and on the same days may now have to be added to accommodate demand.

Helen Whiteley, commercial director at Agents’ Mutual, said: “The huge level of support for our launch events shows how our momentum has grown and how excited the industry has become about our launch on January 26.”

The meetings are all private, and attendance is by invitation only.

Agents will be given a walk-through of the new portal and shown a video presentation taking them through the planned marketing and advertising.

AM say – The meetings are all private, and attendance is by invitation only.

How are they going to sway me if they do not offer me a place at the meeting?

Because they are not recruitment meetings they are briefing meetings. They are intended for those who have subscribed to get the details regarding launch, uploads and marketing I assume.

Those meetings have been taking place for over a year Badger. These meeetings are for the ones who have been to those meetings and already committed. My space is booked and I'm really looking forward to it.
