Online firm Yopa reintroduces controversial agent guide

Online agent Yopa has reintroduced its agent guide.

EYE wrote about this new guide – which compares the performance of local branches with that of Yopa nationally – earlier this month.

Our story resulted in a number of critical posts from readers, and soon after our story appeared the guide vanished from the Yopa site, replaced by a message that it would be back soon.

The new version of the tool can be found here.

What a ridiculous “guide of irrelevance”. Another ‘call centre agent’ trying to trade off a 5 star rating and a desklist of 3000 unsold properties. No mention of success rate, volume sold or percentage of asking price achieved – the statistics that really matter to any full service agent!

Reviews requested and given at point of sale i.e. when you’ve taken their money and advertised their house.

This is ‘text book’ form for call centre agents now. Have you been looking over big brothers shoulder and copying their homework YOPA?

    Pfft!

      1. Listing all the properties for every postcode is ridiculous – should be just the number of props they have in that postcode.

      2. Using AllAgent review ratings for all other agents vs their Trustpilot rating is again ridiculous (their AllAgents rating is 2.3).

I love this guide. In fact I’m gonna use it in my next appraisal despite the fact I never come up against YOPA.

It shows my business as selling much faster then any of the local firms and YOPA.

RR and biggest local independent – 25 weeks, WHB 34 weeks!!! Absolute gold.
