Property franchise chain Northwood has launched a charitable foundation in memory of its managing director Nick Cooper, who died last year of pancreatic cancer.
This year and next, the Northwood Charitable Foundation will raise funds for the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund.
It aims to raise a total of £20,000 through events such as a golf challenge, cricket match and climb of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest of all cancer survival rates: just 3% of patients survive beyond five years, a figure which has not changed in four decades.
