Northwood franchisees continue industry consolidation with more purchases

Two more franchisees have acquired neighbouring lettings businesses, as the industry continues to consolidate.

Martin and Fiona Bradbury of Northwood Warminister have acquired Wilsons of Westbury, adding 110 units to their managed stock.

The couple’s latest acquisition means they have doubled the size of their business within the last 18 months.

In Glasgow, Northwood franchisee Keith Robin has completed on Domino Estates, adding a further 191 managed properties to his portfolio.

Northwood managing director Phil Gee said: “We wish our franchisees every success with their business development plans.

“Northwood, which is part of the Belvoir Group, is actively looking for owners of independent businesses who may be looking for an exit strategy, and we have a strong pipeline of acquisitions that are due to complete later this year.”

* Belvoir has appointed a new group IT and marketing director. David Newton has been promoted from his former role at Belvoir brand Newton Fallowell.
