Winkworth continues its expansion in the south-west of England with the opening of a new office in in Tiverton – Winkworth’s fourth branch in Devon.
The new office, which offers both sales and lettings, will be run by Exeter franchisee Chris Baker, who opened the branch on the back of purchasing a lettings portfolio in the area – his third lettings acquisition backed by funding from Winkworth Franchising Limited.
Dominic Agace, chief executive, Winkworth, said: “Devon is on many people’s wish lists as a much-loved holiday destination where they would like to move to one day.
“With the advent of working from home as a result of the pandemic, this has now become a real choice and our offices in the county have seen significant demand from people moving from London and other urban areas.
“We are delighted to have supported Chris Baker with the Tiverton office, which is in such a great strategic location.”
You have to hand it to Winkies , steady and sure ,backing winners.
Successful franchisee at Poringland recently expanded into adjoining territory in Norwich. Likewise existing franchisee in Dorset
Very few failures and maybe that is due to their recruitment policy
“If you are an driven and experienced property professional estate agent looking to take the next big step we like to hear from you”
Least likely to be using a hook like this
“We signed up £100,021 of sales in our first 6 months”

“… backing winners …”
Chris is a top guy and is certainly a winner. He should do well with this expansion.
Congratulation and the best of success to him
