A new online system allowing tenants to report maintenance issues has gone live – in the same week that Countrywide, Connells and Zoopla announced their investment in Fixflo.
The Property Support Hub has been launched by agent Mark Reynolds, of Pierce & Co, which covers parts of Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
He said he had come up with the system for his own business, and has had it on its website for a couple of years.
Reynolds said: “It has worked so well for us that I decided to offer it to other agents to help with their responsibilities when it comes to maintenance and avoiding sanctions such as the barring of the service of Section 21 notices for failing to deal with maintenance issues.”
The system allows tenants to log in and register their report.
Once they do log in, the system presents some self-help articles to help them resolve the issue.
It also has videos to show them how to check issues such as the boiler switch.
The system allows tenants to make reports in over 60 languages. It costs agents £35 per month per branch.
