New partnership to create further efficiencies for agents

mio, the sales progression platform, has partnered with CoreLogic, a major provider of consumer, financial and property data, in order to help automate the construction of hundreds of thousands of property chains.

CoreLogic are supplying mio with data on every property listed on the UK’s property portals, including Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket.

The data removes the requirement for agents to add the details of their properties to mio, with a view to saving agents time and further simplifying the process of building a chain.

Property records, within mio, will automatically update when a property reaches sold subject to contract.

The announcement comes as mio continues to develop at pace and follows the recent launch of the mio chain view API which, via a simple integration, allows all parties involved in a sale or purchase to benefit from a single view of the chain.

Emma Vigus, managing director, mio, said: “The combination of mio’s ability to visually represent data via a simple sales progression platform and APIs combined with CoreLogic’s expertise in data sourcing and analysis creates huge potential and we’re looking forward to developing the relationship.”

CoreLogic UK’s aim is to empower the property services industry through technology, data and connectivity, which is why Stewart McRae, the firm’s sales director, believes that the partnership will prove successful.

He commented: “mio’s aim to speed up residential property transactions through the smart deployment of data and technology is completely aligned with ours. They are a natural partner for our business, as we build on our well-established presence within the UK surveying industry and, a natural complement to our emerging suite of products for estate agents.”
